直輸入盤国内仕様CD 解説の対訳付き 『BLUE』50周年記念の一環として、アーカイヴ音源集VOL.2が5CDリリース!!今回は1968年から1971年!! 本盤に収録されている楽曲は、ジョニ・ミッチェルのキャリアの中で最もクリエイティブな時期の一つをリアルタイムで追うために、年代順に並べられています。1969年に友人のジェーン・ルーリーがニューヨークのチェルシーにあるアパートで録音した"Jesus"をはじめ、未発表のオリジナル曲を収録。 また、1968年3月19日にオタワのLE HIBOU COFFEE HOUSEで行われた演奏をジミ・ヘンドリックスが録音したものや、1970年10月29日にロンドンのパリ・シアターで行われたコンサートをBBCが放送したものなども。後者には、翌年の『BLUE』に収録される予定の曲がいくつか含まれており、"Carey"、"River"、"My Old Man "などを収録。また、番組の後半にはシンガーソングライターのジェームス・テイラーが加わり共演。 そして、グラミー賞9部門のうち最初の賞を受賞することになるセカンドアルバム『CLOUDS』をリリースする数カ月前の1969年2月1日に録音されたカーネギーホールでのデビュー曲を完全収録。
